Business evaluation
Business evaluation includes the correct use of methods and techniques for evaluation required for professionally and ethically correct business evaluation.
The most frequent cases that require business evaluation are: purchase or sale of a company, withdrawal of, and payment to, a company member, mergers and acquisitions, an increase or decrease in the capital.
To pursue the activity, the conditions for a certified business appraiser must be met.

Applicants who wish to pursue this activity must register the business activity, and have the appropriate legal status.

Certified business appraisers carry out special methods of business evaluation through which they provide information regarding the actual value of the company to clients.
A certified business appraiser is a natural person who has acquired a licence from the Slovenian Institute of Auditors to perform the tasks of a certified business appraiser.
