Growing of other non-perennial crops

• List of activities that are usually carried out as a craft 

  For activities listed on the List of activities usually carried out as a craft, business entities registering these activities must also enter in the register of crafts at the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS) ex officio.
• Applies to the following activities/services:
• growing flowers, cut flowers, flower buds, greenery and similar products;
• seed production of ornamental plants.

The production, preparation for the market, import and/or marketing of agricultural seeds and propagating material may carried out only by the suppliers who are entered in the register of suppliers kept by the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection (UVHVVR).

Growers of growing material of certain plants must be entered in the FITO register kept by the UVHVVR. More detailed provisions are in the Rules on the conditions for registration of growers, processors, importers and distributors of plants, plant products and other controlled items and the issuance of plant passports.
