Performing field inspections of seed units of agricultural plants under official supervision
Field inspections are only performed in the event of officially certified seed units. This activity is performed under official supervision of the certifying authority which has the public authority to officially certify the seed units of agricultural plants. In Slovenia, this function is performed by the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia.
Inspections of the seed units of agricultural plants in performed by inspectors who are appointed to perform inspections of the seed units of agricultural plants under official supervision.

Applicants who wish to pursue this activity must register the business activity, and have the appropriate legal status.

An inspector is an individual performing field inspections of seed-producing crops of agricultural plants under official supervision.
The field inspections of seed-producing crops may only be performed by the inspectors that have been appointed by a competent authority and do not have any personal benefit from performing field inspections.
