Private security activities (80.100)

• Private Security Act

  In order to perform these activities, a business entity must acquire a license in private security.

  This applies to the following activities/services:

  • carrying out technical security systems,
  • planning technical security systems,
  • transportation and protection of cash and other  shipments of value,
  • managing a security control centre,
  • protecting public gatherings,
  • protecting people and property,
  • protecting individuals,
  • protecting events in bars and restaurants.
  The conditions for the following human resources have been prescribed:

• security guard,
• authorised security system engineer,
• security watchman,
• security supervisor,
• security manager,
• security guard/bodyguard,
• a security guard with a special qualification for the transportation and protection of cash,
• authorised engineer for security systems and other shipments of value,
• security technical,
• operator of a security control centre.

Activities/services according to explanations to the standard classification of activities:

These include:

• observing,
• protecting and other protective activities related to the transportation of valuables or
• money with security vehicles, the protection of individuals, buildings,
• offices, factories, construction sites, hotels, theatres, dance halls, shopping
• centres, sports facilities, etc.

This also includes:

• polygraph services, guard dog training
