Production of electricity in thermal, nuclear power stations (35.112)

For performing individual activities in the field of electric power generation it is necessary to obtain an authorisation for this electric power generation activity which is awarded by the Energy Agency.

The authorisation must be obtained for the following activities:

• production of electricity and and heat above 1 MW in individual power plant or heat plant,
• manufacture, sales and distribution of liquid fuel,
• processing of oil and petroleum products,
• transport of energy and fuels by networks,
• the activity of system operator, storage of gaseous, liquid and solid fuels,
• supply of electrical energy, gas or heath,
• organisation of electrical energy and/or natural gas market,
• representation and intermediation on the electrical energy or natural gas market.

The Act stipulates the following professions:

• Technical manager of an energy facility,
• District heating dispatcher,
• Electricity dispatcher,
• Dispatcher in a gas pipeline system,
• Head of water preparation,
• Electricity switching operator,
• Manager of a combined cycle-power unit,
• Boiler facility manager,
• Small electric power plant manager,
• Steam or gas turbine manager,
• Water turbine manager,
• Water treatment manager,
• Energy sector manager,
• Energy installations manager,
• Energy plant operations manager,
• Filler of industrial gases,
• Electricity equipment and installation inspector,
• Switching operator in industry,
• Central heating operator, Pumping installation operator,
• Industrial furnace operator,
• Air conditioning and ventilation operator,
• Compressor and refrigeration installation operator,
• Boiler operator,
• Internal combustion engine operator,
• Gas installation operator,
• Water preparation operator.

• Regulation on supplementary activities in agriculture

A supplementary farm activity may start to be implemented after the finality of the permit for the pursuit of supplementary farm activity and after all conditions determined by the sector regulations for the start of pursuing an individual supplementary activity are fulfilled.

This applies for the following activities/services:

• manufacture and sales of energy from wood biomass;
• manufacture and sales of energy from manure and slurry and plant substrate.
