Brokerage activities in the sale and purchase of real estate are carried out by a real estate company or a sole trader that has, on the basis of an employment contract or any other legal grounds, at least one real estate agent entered in the public directory of real estate agents and insurance for damage liability for damage incurred while performing agency services in the sale and purchase of real estate.

• Auditing Act

A certified real estate value appraiser is a natural entity that acquired a permit from the Slovenian Audit Institute for performing tasks of an authorised real estate value appraiser.

A significant difference between a real estate appraiser and a certified appraiser is that a certified appraiser evaluates real estate by order of the court, while a real estate appraiser evaluates real estate by order of clients.
