Risk assessment for nature

The risk assessment for nature is implemented before the introduction or repopulation of non-indigenous wildlife plants and animals in nature or breeding non-indigenous wildlife animals.

The risk assessment is implemented for each case of entry or breeding separately, whereby the assessment is implemented for each taxonomical category, even lower than the species. Individual parts of plants or animals which can independently reproduce are also assessed.

A registration and the acquisition of a public authorisation are required for the implementation of the risk assessment.
