• List of activities usually carried out as a craft

For activities on the List of activities usually carried out as a craft, business entities registering these activities must also be entered in the register of crafts at the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS) ex officio.

This applies for the following activities/services:    

• sawing of wood, planing of wood
• peeling and slicing of logs
• manufacture of wooden railway sleepers
• manufacture of wooden poles, stakes etc.
• manufacture of wooden railway sleepers
• manufacture of readings
• manufacture of unassembled wooden flooring (parquet, wood-block flooring)
• manufacture of wood wool, wood flour, chips, particles
• sawing of wood used for fuel
• drying of wood
• surface protection of wood
• impregnation or chemical treatment of wood with preservatives or other materials

• Decree on supplementary activities in agriculture

   A supplementary farm activity may begin after the finality of the permit for the pursuit of supplementary farm activity and after all conditions determined by the sectoral provisions for an individual supplementary activity are fulfilled.

  This applies to the following activities/services:     

  • manufacture of sawn, planed and impregnated wood,
  • manufacture of wood briquettes and pellets,
  • sawing and planing of wood.

This includes:

• sawing of wood, planing of wood
• peeling and slicing of logs
• manufacture of wooden railway sleepers
• manufacture of wooden poles, stakes etc.
• manufacture of wooden railway sleepers
• manufacture of readings
• manufacture of unassembled wooden flooring (parquet, wood-block flooring)
• manufacture of wood wool, wood flour, chips, particles

This also includes:

• sawing of wood used for fuel
• drying of wood
• surface protection of wood
• impregnation or chemical treatment of wood with preservatives or other materials

• Sandblasting wooden constructions;
• Work on CNC machine (In the case of treatment of metal, the suitable code is 25.620 Machining. For work involving the sawing of wood, the suitable SKD code is 16.100 Sawmilling and planing of wood. The category thus depends on the final product.);
• Manufacture of wood chips from logs and their sale;
