Silviculture and other forestry activities (02.100)

This SCA code includes activities and services for which entrance and/or other conditions for the commencement of an activity are established. 

Regulations and conditions:

  • Forest Act

    Prior to the start of activities, providers of works in forests must fulfil all conditions and submit evidence
    to the forestry inspection.

    The conditions apply for the following services that are classified into this subclass of the standard classification of activities:

    • planting the seedlings of forest trees,
    • protection against wildlife,
    • less difficult harvesting,
    • preparation of soil for natural insemination and
    • undemanding works with hand tools.

The provider must have suitably qualified personnel carrying out individual works in forests.

A supplementary farm activity may start to be implemented
after the finality of the permit for the pursuit of supplementary farm activity and after all conditions determined by the sector regulations for the start of pursuing
an individual supplementary activity are fulfilled.

  • Cultivation and protection of forests.

Activities/services which are classified in this subclass of the standard classification of activities:

This includes:

  • the cultivation of forests: the rehabilitation and protection of stands,
  • care of forest (thinning, cleaning, improving),
  • forest protection and the protection of protection zones,
  • the cultivation of coppices and forest tree plantations,
  • the activity of tree nurseries,

  • Spruce planting (reforestation);
  • planting the seedlings of forest trees, protection against wildlife, less difficult harvesting, preparation of soil for natural insemination and undemanding work with hand tools: lesson by a worker meeting the conditions for the care of young plants.
