Specialised design activities (74.100)

List of activities usually carried out as a craft 

For activities listed on the List of activities usually carried out as a craft, business entities registering these activities must also be entered in the register of crafts at the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS) ex officio.

This applies to the following activities/services:

• designing textiles, clothes, shoes, jewellery, furniture and other items for wide consumption,
• interior design and decoration (decorating display rooms and premises),
• graphic design
• industrial design (designing products by considering the harmony between functionality, aesthetics and technological process)

Activities/services according to explanations of the standard classification of activities:

• designing textiles, clothes, shoes, jewellery, furniture and other items for wide consumption, interior design and decoration (decorating display rooms and premises), graphic design, industrial design (designing products by considering the harmony between functionality, aesthetics and technological process).

Activities/services added in the questions and answers table (SURS):

• Architectural services (the classification in the main activity depends on what services generate the major part of added value or income. Possible classifications are: 71.111 Architectural planning, 71.112 Landscape architecture, urban and other planning, 74.100 Specialised design activities),
• a self-employed person who works as a fashion designer (fashion design is categorised under 74.100 Specialised design activities),
• 3-D house and furniture drawing based on 2-D plans or images (63.110 Data processing, hosting and related activities (if the client draws sketches in electronic form); 71.111 Architectural planning (if the client draws plans); 74.100 Specialised design activities (if the client is a graphic designer of items such as furniture). The main activity is the one that adds most value),
• interior design,
• theatre screen installation,
• installation of interior blinds, roller blinds, blinds, shade curtains,
• installation of curtain rails, shade curtains, shades, roller blinds, paper shades, interior non-installed blinds;
• retail sale and installation of curtain racks and tools for their use (the appropriate code for selling curtain racks and tools for their installation is 47.530; the code 74.100 is appropriate for installing curtain racks).
