This SCA code includes activities and services for which entrance and/or other conditions for the commencement and pursuit of an activity are established.

Regulations and conditions:

Complementary and Alternative Medicine Act

A national or foreign natural person or legal entity may perform activities of complementary and alternative medicine on the basis of a permit issued by the chamber.

The conditions that the complementary and alternative medicine provider must fulfil are:

minimum secondary health education or at least secondary professional education and test passed in health care as per the first paragraph of Article 6 of this act,
a qualification for implementing an individual complementary and alternative medicine system or method,
actively speaks Slovenian and also the language of the nationality in bilingual areas,
has not been convicted res judicata of a premeditated criminal offence carrying a sentence longer than six months or a security measure of banning the practise of a profession.
