Construction and maintenance of forest roads
The forest infrastructure must be planned, constructed and maintained so as to cause minimum impacts on the forest soil, flora and fauna. The construction of forest roads is in the public interest. Various expert staff is required for constructing and maintaining the forest roads.

Applicants who wish to pursue this activity must register the business activity, and have the appropriate legal status.

Shotfiring in the forestry is carried out to build forest roads, levelling of terrain and similar works.
A shotfirer must be adequately qualified, have appropriate work experience, pass a safety-at-work course and wear proper working and protective equipment.

An operator of agricultural and gardening machinery and devices requires a certificate on national vocational qualification: A male/female operator of agricultural and gardening must have proper working and protective equipment and pass the safety-at-work course.

Before the first implementation of works in forest, the contractors must submit the competent forestry inspection the evidence on the professional qualification of workers and prove that they comply with the conditions related to the safety at work. On the basis of the application, the competent forestry inspection enters the contractor on the list of contractors of forest works.
