Court interpretation
The activity of court interpreters includes interpreting at hearings at the request of the court or translation of documents.
The activity is performed by court interpreters on the basis of a decision on appointing a court interpreter by Ministry of justice.

Conditions

The activity of court interpreters may be performed in three manners, i.e.:
- a court interpreter occasionally performs work in court and does not perform an independent activity of the same kind at the same time;
- a court interpreter occasionally performs work in court and performs an independent activity of the same kind at the same time;
- a court interpreter continuously performs work in court – prior to that, the activity must be suitably registered.
Legal basis

Court interpreters are persons appointed for an unlimited time with the right and duty to interpret at hearings or translate documents for the court at its request.
Cross-border/temporary provisions of activity
Performance of the activity in Slovenia is not possible on Cross-border/temporary basis.
