• Health Services Act

  The activity may be carried out by natural persons and legal entities that fulfil the prescribed conditions. Conditions for acquiring a permit or decision on entry in the register include appropriate education, premises and equipment. The permit for a legal entity is issued by the Ministry of Health. Conditions for appropriate staff are prescribed.

• Medical Practitioners Act

  A medical practitioner may independently perform medical services if they are entered in the register of medical practitioners and fulfil all conditions determined by the Act. The decision on entry in the register of medical practitioners and dentists as natural persons is issued by the Medical Chamber of Slovenia.

• consulting, diagnostics and treatment provided by general practitioners;
• activity of out-patient clinics which may be implemented in medical centres, on business premises, in private clinics, social care institutions etc. and also in the patient's home.
