Management of protected area
The management of a protected area involves conducting tasks of protection of natural assets and tasks necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose for which the area was protected.
The protected area can be managed by protected area managers. The protected area can be managed by a public institution or a concession is granted for management, or the founder directly manages it.
The founder directly manages the protected area by establishing a public utility unit in accordance with the law on public utility services.
The provisions of the act on institutions apply for the establishment and operations of the public institution.
The concession is granted to a natural or legal entity based on provisions on granting concessions under the act on public utility services.
Direct supervision in nature is implemented by nature conservation inspectors.
