Manufacture of cider and other fruit wines (11.030)

This SCA code includes activities and services for which entrance and/or other conditions for the commencement and pursue of an activity are established. 

 

Regulations and conditions:

 

  • Decree on the implementation of certain Regulations (EC) concerning foodstuffs, hygiene of foodstuffs and official control of foodstuffs

Before placing foodstuffs on the market, the facilities in the area of production, processing and marketing foodstuffs are required to register in the register kept by the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection (UVHVVR).

  • Regulation on supplementary activities in agriculture

    A supplementary farm activity may start to be implemented after the finality of the permit for the pursuit of supplementary farm activity and after all conditions determined by the sector regulations for the start of pursuing an individual supplementary activity are fulfilled.

    Applies to the following activities/services:

    • production of other fermented drinks, fruit wines, mead and sparkling mead.

Activities/services which are classified in this sub-class of the standard classification of activities:

 

This class includes:

  • manufacture of fermented but not distilled alcoholic beverages: cider, perry;
  • manufacture of mead; manufacture of raisin wine (Prošek), rice wine (sake).
