For activities on the List of activities usually carried out as a craft, business entities registering these activities must also be entered in the register of crafts at the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS) ex officio.

• manufacture of wood products intended to be used primarily in the construction industry:
• beams and rafters
• glue-laminated and metal connected, prefabricated wooden roof trusses
• wooden doors, windows and their frames
• wooden stairs, railings and panelling
• wooden shingles, slats and beadings
• manufacture of prefabricated buildings, or elements thereof, predominantly of wood, e.g. saunas
• manufacture of mobile homes
• manufacture of wood partitions (except free standing)
• manufacture of wooden shutters

• Decree on supplementary activities in agriculture

  A supplementary farm activity may be implemented after the finality of the permit for the pursuit of supplementary farm activity and after all conditions determined by the sector regulations for the start of an individual supplementary activity are fulfilled.

  Applies to the following activities/services:

  • traditional carpentry - manufacture of traditional wooden presses for grapes; hayracks; carpentry details for the needs of preserving monuments of cultural heritage or so-called restoration carpentry; manufacture of carpentry replicas;
  • traditional joinery - manufacture of joinery replicas of cultural heritage, restoration joinery; manufacture of various traditional joinery products;
  • manufacture of shingles and slates.

In addition to suitable business premises and technical equipment, special needs relating to anti-explosion protection at work must also be met.

• Cutting of wood according to measurements for roof trusses of buildings;
• Extension of a hayrack for setting up an advertising billboard (Manufacture of wooden hayracks used for advertising is included in 16.230 Manufacture of other builders' carpentry and joinery, which also applies if the hayrack is manufactured and set up by the same business entity. Installation without manufacture of the hayrack for advertising is classified under code 43.990);
• Preparation of foundations and setting up a garden shed (Manufacture of garden sheds is classified under sub-class 16.230 Manufacture of other builders' carpentry and joinery; Preparation, construction of foundations and setting up a garden shed is classified under sub-class 43.990 Other specialised construction activities n.e.c. The main activity contributes most to income);
• Manufacture and installation of wooden sanitary cabin and partition walls.
