Appointment for the control and certification of agricultural products
Organisations which want to pursue the control and certification of agricultural products must be appointed by the minister on the basis of a public tender.
Such decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia.
The organisation must have an accreditation document as the evidence on fulfilling conditions of the SIST 45011 standard.
Conditions
These terms apply to activity Certification and control over the production of organic and integrated agricultural products

The organisations for control must have an accreditation document on the compliance with general criteria for control over the production and processing of organic agricultural products of foodstuffs and on the compliance with general criteria for control of the production of integrated agricultural products or foodstuffs. The criteria are determined in the SIST EN 45011 standard. The accreditation is issued by the Slovenian Accreditation Institute or an accreditation service of other Member State entered in the European Accreditation
