For acquiring the authorisation for the title master of a ship with gross tonnage from 500 to 3.000, the individual must fulfil the conditions with regard to appropriate age; they must undergo training, have appropriate navigation experience and be healthy.
The authorisation for the title is issued in Slovene and English.
