Concession agreement for the implementation of public service in water management

Public services in water management in individual areas are implemented based on a concession, which is granted for four years according to the procedure of concluding a public-private partnership between a public service provider and the client, i.e. based on negotiations upon preliminary publication.

The start of the concession procedure is the date when the public private partnership between a public service provider and the client is concluded.

The decision on the selection of the concessionaire in the public procurement procedure and the decision on the concession is issued by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, the concession procedure is managed by the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning.

After the decision on the concession becomes final, a concession agreement is concluded with the selected provider of public services in water management, thus regulating mutual relations.
