Decision on recognising vocational qualifications
A permit to perform a regulated profession in the Republic of Slovenia is acquired by a decision on the recognition of vocational qualifications.
If the competent authority establishes considerable differences between an individual's training and national training, the person is required to take a test of knowledge or is subject to an adjustment period of no more than three years.
The right to perform a regulated profession is acquired from the day the decision on the recognition of professional qualifications is final.
If the profession is not regulated in the country of establishment, the service provider must provide the services they wish to provide in the Republic of Slovenia in this country continuously or for at least two years in the period of the preceding ten years before they begin to provide these services in the Republic of Slovenia.
