Entry in the register of producers and collectors of equipment
The producer and the collector must be entered in the register of equipment producers. The register is managed by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy.
An application for the entry in the register at the competent authority must be submitted for the entry in the register of producers and collectors of equipment. After an administrative and content review, the competent authority issues a decision.
The register of producers and collectors of equipment contains the following data:
- the number from the register of producers and collectors of equipment;
- company and head office of the producer and collector of waste equipment;
- annual quantity of equipment in kilograms, by classes and purpose of use;
- the number of waste equipment management plan;
- company and head office of user who is the carrier of the implementation of the waste equipment management plan, and
- the date of entry in the register.
The producer or collector can only be entered in the register of producers and collectors of equipment once for all products traded within the same class or sub-class of equipment, i.e. based on the same waste equipment management plan.
The competent authority enters the producer or collector in the register of producers and collectors of equipment for:
- five years and for a particular class or
- several equipment classes.
The producer or collector must attach the waste equipment plan to the application for the entry in the register of producers and collectors of equipment. The producer or collector can be included in the joint waste equipment management plan. In this case, the carrier of the joint plan can submit the application for the entry in the register of producers and collectors.
