General approval or decision on allocating radio frequencies

Radio frequencies are used based on a general approval or decision on the allocation of radio frequencies.

GENERAL APPROVAL

The general approval arises from the plan of usage of radio frequencies.

DECISION ON THE ALLOCATION OF RADIO FREQUENCY

The decision on the allocation of radio frequency is issued by the Agency for Communication Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia (AKOS).

The decision on the allocation of radio frequencies is issued:

• on the basis of a public tender, only in the case, when AKOS makes an assessment with a general act
• without publishing a public tender.

An application must be submitted at AKOS in order to acquire a decision on the allocation of radio frequencies.

The procedures of allocating radio frequencies must be open, objective, transparent, proportional and non-discriminatory.

The decision on the allocation of radio frequencies is issued for definite time, i.e. for a maximum 15 years.
