With the maritime agency agreement the maritime agent is obliged to perform maritime agency transactions based on the general or special authorisation in the name and for the account of the principal, the latter will reimburse the agent for all costs and remunerate them.
Each individual order is implemented based on a written or oral agreement. Each oral agreement must be confirmed in written form upon the request of the maritime agent. The maritime agency contract based on the general authorisation must be concluded in written form.
The agent is authorised based on a special agency agreement to perform certain services for the principal. The agent is authorised to perform all services or certain services for the principal based on the general agency agreement and to perform them on a certain area for definite or indefinite time.
