Certified real estate appraiser
On the basis of special methods for evaluating real estate, certified appraisers of real estate make an evaluation through which they provide information regarding the actual value of the real estate to clients.
A certified real estate appraiser is a natural person who has acquired a licence from the Slovenian Institute of Auditors to perform the tasks of a certified real estate appraiser.
A significant difference between a real estate appraiser and a certified appraiser is that a certified appraiser evaluates real estate by order of the court, while a real estate appraiser evaluates real estate by order of clients.
To carry out the tasks of a certified real estate appraiser, a licence from the Slovenian Audit Institute must be acquired. To acquire the licence, persons must meet the required conditions and pass the test of professional knowledge.
On the basis of the licence issued, the Institute enters the appraiser in the register of certified real estate appraisers.
