Absence from work
Absence from work in Slovenia
An employee has the right to paid absence from work due to personal circumstances (own wedding, death of spouse, child, parents, serious accident) for a maximum of seven working days in each calendar year.

Absence from work due to illness or injury
In the case of absence due to illness, injury, care or escort, the employee must provide the employer with a certificate of excused absence from work.
At the begininng of the year 2020, the printed form of the mentioned certificate was replaced by an electronic version - electronic certificate of excused absence from work.
