• Health Services Act

  Health services may be performed by legal and natural entities that fulfil the prescribed conditions. The conditions for acquiring a permit or decision on entry in the register include appropriate education, appropriate premises and equipment. The permit for a legal entity is issued by the Ministry of Health.

• List of health-care professionals.

• Medical Practitioners Act

  A medical practitioner may perform medical services if they fulfil all conditions determined in the Act and are entered in the register of private medical practitioners. The decision on the entry in the register of medical practitioners and dentists is issued by the Medical Chamber of Slovenia.

Activities/services as per the explanatory notes on the standard classification of activities:

This includes:

• general or specialist dental practice activities performed by dentists and dentist specialists and include preventive measures in dental treatment. Dental practice may be implemented in private out-patient clinics, medical centres or dental out-patient clinics in schools, companies, institutions etc.;
• orthodontic activity.

This also includes dental surgery activities.
