Funeral and related activities (96.030)

These activities include:

• the burial and cremation of the deceased and related services:
• preparation of the deceased for burial or cremation,
• embalming the deceased,
• grave digging services,
• the preparation of burial and cremation ceremonies,
• the sale or renting of graves,
• the operation of mortuaries and other services,
• keeping and maintaining cemeteries and tombs,
• the burial of pets;

These activities are placed on the list of activities that are usually carried out as a craft.

When registering the activity in the Business Register, business entities pursuing this activity as a craft must be entered ex officio in the register of crafts at the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS).

Free entry in the register of crafts is performed based on a notification sent by the registering authority (AJPES) to OZS.
