• Health Services Act 

  The activity may be carried out by natural and legal entities that fulfil the prescribed conditions. Conditions for acquiring a permit or decision on entry in the register: appropriate education, premises and equipment. The permit for a legal entity is issued by the Ministry of Health.

• Medical Practitioners Act

  A medical practitioner may perform medical services if they fulfil all conditions and are entered in the register of private medical practitioners. The decision on the entry in the register of medical practitioners and dentists is issued by the Medical Chamber of Slovenia.

Activities/services according to explanations of the standard classification of activities:

This sub-class comprises hospital care services intended for hospitalised patients. The services are implemented and monitored by doctors. These include short- and long-term hospital care and services in general or specialised hospitals, also psychiatric, military and prison hospitals, as well as rehabilitation institutions, clinics, institutes and other health-care institutions with accommodation facilities, which entail:

• medical care and services (medical examinations and operations, diagnostics, laboratory services, surgery and other treatment, rehabilitation, urgent medical care etc.);
• non-medical care (accommodation, food for hospitalised patients etc.);
