Raising of poultry
To pursue this activity, an entry permit is required.
Poultry includes the rearing and breeding of poultry. Poultry includes hens, duck, geese, turkeys, chicken, and guinea fowl.Poultry also refers to the production of eggs and the hatchery activities.
The holder of the animal, who is also its owner, and the caretaker designated for the care of the animal are responsible for poultry.
Prior to performing these activities, a holder of poultry must register their holding and be entered into the Register of Holders of Farm Animals.
For the purpose of egg production, laying hens of the species Gallus gallus domesticus are reared. A holder of laying hens must ensure their entry into the Register of Facilities for Laying Hen Rearing.
