  The activity of organising tourist packages includes the organisation and preparation of tourist packages sold by providers themselves or through tourist agencies. In order to perform its activities, a provider must acquire a license for organising tourist packages and meet the required conditions.

  When organising a travel package at home or abroad, a provider must provide a tourist guide or a tour escort for each organised group. A tourist guide/escort may be an individual entered into the register of tourist guides/escorts and who has passed the exam for tourist guides/escorts.

  The activity of the sale of travel packages includes the sale of trips, travel packages, transportation and accommodation, both to individuals as well as business clients for the purpose of further sale. In order to perform its activities, a provider must acquire a license for the sale of travel packages and meet the required conditions.

  This applies to the following activities/services:

  • Organising travel packages;
  • Sale of travel packages.

Activities/services as per explanatory notes to the standard classification of activities:

 This subclass includes the activity of organising and preparing travel packages sold by the organisers themselves or through
a travel agency.

A trip may include e.g. transportation, accommodation, food and museum visits, sightseeing at historical and cultural sites, visits to the theatre, music and sports events, etc.
