Permit for providing training for work with explosives or pyrotechnic products
A permit from the Ministry of the Interior is required to provide professional training for traders, storekeepers and responsible persons in the production or transport, blasters and special blasting works, operators of fireworks and special pyrotechnic effects and for the destruction of explosives or pyrotechnic products.
Mandatory participation in training provided by a training provider is not a condition for a candidate to apply for a test of professional competence before an expert commission.
Terms and conditions
These terms apply to activity Providing training for work with explosives or pyrotechnic products

In order to perform the activity, you are obliged to register and select the appropriate status form.

A responsible person for providing training for work with explosives or pyrotechnic products is a person who is appropriately educated, has at least five years of work experience, has passed the required professional exams and/or has obtained the required certificates.

A training programme must be prepared for each type of training. A training programme defines in detail:
- the content of training,
- the duration of training,
- the method of training,
- the lecturers.

The training provider must have the following at its disposal:
- a classroom for 15 or more participants
- appropriate audiovisual and teaching aids that manufacturers of explosives and pyrotechnic products provide to users
- suitable training grounds for practical training for a blaster, special blasting works, performance of fireworks and for the destruction of explosives or pyrotechnic products (special blasting works include blasting in the construction of underground facilities, demolition of facilities, underwater blasting, blasting in hot masses, explosive joining of metals, blasting of snow and ice, blasting of oil and gas wells and extinguishing fires by blasting, blasting for geophysical research.

Where and how to apply
The form and content of the application are not prescribed by law. The application with appendices is sent to the Ministry of the Interior
Attachments
- Proof of suitability of premises
- Evidence of suitable education for lecturers
- Proof of at least five years of work experience in the field on which they will lecture
- Proof of a passed professional exam in occupational safety and health for a lecturer in the field of occupational safety and health
- Proof of the provision of conditions for practical training for those types of training programmes that include practical training
- Other proof required by the Ministry of the Interior
Procedure costs
An administrative fee of 58.90 EUR is paid for the application and issuance of the permit in accordance with the Administrative Fees Act.
