A teacher for children with special needs
A teacher for children with special needs teaches one or more subjects or provides practical training and cares for education and rehabilitation and for the holistic development of children and adolescents in schools and institutions for the implementation of education and training programs for children and adolescents with special needs.
A teacher for children with special needs must master the Slovenian literary language, have an appropriate education and pass a professional exam in the field of education.

Cross-border provisions of profession
Performance of the profession in Slovenia is possible on cross-border/temporary basis. Prior to commencing the service, you must submit a written application to the competent authority.
