Cableway engineer
A cableway engineer is trained for his work on the mechanical and electrotechnical part of the cableway as well as for operation, maintenance, and rescuing.
A candidate who meets the education and age condition may take the professional qualification test for engineers. The seminar encompasses 68 hours and the training costs EUR 620.00 (VAT exempt). The cost of the professional qualification test is EUR 160.00 (VAT exempt). The total cost for the payment for the training and the test amounts to EUR 780.00. The participants receive written materials at the training programme.

A mechanical engineer must be at least 18 years of age.

- qualification according to the driver's programme or
- elementary school and three seasons or work experience on a cableway installation or
- at least secondary vocational education (4th level).
