Metrologist for conformity establishment
The competent person must ensure suitable personnel to establish conformity of measuring instruments. These activities are carried out by metrologists.
Metrologists must be suitably technically and professionally qualified, have satisfactory knowledge of rules regarding the tasks to be carried out, and be suitably qualified to draw up certificates, records and reports.

Personnel of the notified body must have suitable technical and professional competence.

Accreditation documents issued by the Slovenian Accreditation Institute are acquired by the Metrology Institute ex officio.
