Patent representatives represent the parties to proceedings relating to the acquisition, maintenance and other requirements in connection with any right under the provisions of the Industrial Property Act (ZIL-1). In proceedings relating to the rights under ZIL-1, patent representatives may also represent parties before courts and other state authorities if they meet the requirements laid down by the regulations governing representation before the courts and other state authorities.
