Person responsible for the railway subsystem
The appointed body must employ a person responsible for the implementation of procedures of verification of railway subsystems. The person responsible for subsystems is responsible for the correct performance of procedures of examination and verification of the adequacy of railway subsystems and must be independent and must not be paid on the basis of the quantity of examinations performed or the results of examinations.
The person responsible for subsystems is bound to professional secrecy regarding everything they learn while performing their obligations and must have appropriate education and skills, and must be adequately trained in the field of general administrative procedure.
Conditions

Staff responsible for implementing verification must have suitable
education and knowledge from all sections of individual sub-systems:
Sub-system
1: Infrastructure
- at least a construction engineer;
- at least 5 years of work experience in the implementation of works on the sub-system or at least 3 references in the last 10 years for the implementation, supervision, revision or
- engineering of works for implementation on the sub-system.
Sub-system
2: Control – command and signalling
along the route
- at least an electrical engineer;
- at least 5 years of work experience in the implementation of works on the sub-system or at least 3 references in the last 10 years for the implementation, supervision, revision or
- engineering of works for implementation on the sub-system.
Sub-system
3: Control – command and signalling on
the vehicle
- at least an electrical engineer;
- at least 5 years of work experience in the implementation of works on the sub-system or at least 3 references in the last 10 years for the implementation, supervision, revision or
- engineering of works for implementation on the sub-system.
Sub-system
4: Energy
- at least an electrical engineer;
- at least 5 years of work experience in the implementation of works on the sub-system or at least 3 references in the last 10 years for the implementation, supervision, revision or
- engineering of works for implementation on the sub-system.
Sub-system
5: Rolling stock
- at least a mechanical engineer;
- at least 5 years of work experience in the implementation of works on the sub-system or at least 3 references in the last 10 years for the implementation, supervision, revision or
- engineering of works for implementation on the sub-system.
Evidence
Period of employment in the field of individual sub-systems or
references for the responsible works manager, responsible manager of individual
works, responsible supervisor, responsible supervisor of individual works,
responsible reviser or responsible designer on the sub-system in the
preparation of the project design for the acquisition of the building permit
serves as evidence of the practical qualifications of staff responsible for a
sub-system.
