Professional manager in an different recognised organisation in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia in the field of livestock farming
A professional manager in a different recognised organisation operating in the entire territory of the Republic of Slovenia manages, organises, and performs tasks from individual parts of a confirmed breeding programme.
A professional manager in a different recognised organisation must have an appropriate education and work experience, be professionally trained, and also meet other conditions.
Conditions

Professional managers of other recognised organisations in cattle husbandry, pig husbandry, sheep and goat husbandry, and beekeeping must have a university education in zootechnics or similar in agriculture, and at least ten years' work experience in the field of recognition.
Professional managers of other recognised organisations who work in the field of horse husbandry must have a university education in zootechnics in agriculture or veterinary medicine, and at least five years' work experience in the field of recognition.

Professional managers must be professionally competent to carry out individual parts of approved breeding programmes.
The professional training programme is carried out to improve, expand and deepen knowledge for the needs of the implementation of breeding programmes. The programme lasts a maximum of 16 school hours and includes the following topics:
- general knowledge in animal husbandry;
- new knowledge in the implementation of breeding programmes;
- new features in regulations that regulate animal husbandry;
- new methods of animal assessment and the forecast of the breeding values;
- special characteristics when capturing, processing and interpreting information in animal husbandry.
Applicants lodge an application with the training provider.
Following the completion of professional training, the training provider must announce at least three dates for the test of knowledge. The test of knowledge is carried out in written form and lasts a maximum of 45 minutes.
The result of the test is assessed as " pass-a" or" fail-a". If an applicant fails to pass the test on three occasions, they take each further test before a three-member commission.
The material is prepared by the training provider in a written from and in the Slovenian language for each participant.
The costs of training, the test of knowledge and the issuing of official certificates are borne by the participants or the organisation that referred them.
Following training, the participants receive a certificate of participation and a certificate of passing test of knowledge.
Professional training programmes must be attended every five years and completed with a test of knowledge.

Professional managers of other recognised organisations in animal husbandry must:
- have knowledge of at least one foreign language;
- publish professional or scientific work in the field of recognition;
- possess organisational skills for research and routine work;
- have at least one professional recommendation.
