A rating forming part of an engine room watch must have an authorisation for the rank of a rating forming part of an engine room watch.
Conditions

For acquiring the authorisation for the title engineering watch crew member, the individual must fulfil the conditions with regard to appropriate age; they must undergo training, have appropriate navigation experience and be healthy.
The authorisation for the title is issued in Slovene and English.
