Responsible manager for radiation and nuclear safety
Legal entities or individuals acquire an authorisation for the implementation of the works of an authorised expert for radiation and nuclear safety if they appoint responsible experts for individual fields of radiation and nuclear safety for which they intend to acquire an authorisation and determine among them a responsible manager radiation and nuclear safety, and if they meet the prescribed conditions for the implementation of the works of an authorised expert. A responsible manager for radiation and nuclear safety must have adequate education, required work experience and complete training in the basics of radiation and nuclear safety.

After completing their studies, an individual must have at least seven years of work experience in nuclear and radiation safety.

An individual must complete their training in the basics of nuclear and radiation safety as stipulated in Annex 2 of the Rules on authorised experts for radiation and nuclear safety.
The commission verifies the suitability of the scope, content and method of verifying the knowledge in the basics of nuclear and radiation safety for each individual in the process of verifying the conditions for the acquisition of the authorisation.
