Sea captain on a ship with gross tonnage of up to 500
The sea captain is an individual who commands the ship with gross tonnage of up to 500. In order to perform this profession he or she must obtain an authorisation for a bridge rank.
Conditions

For acquiring the authorisation for the title master of a ship with gross tonnage to 500, the individual must fulfil the conditions with regard to appropriate age; they must undergo training, have appropriate navigation experience and be healthy.
The authorisation for the title is issued in Slovene and English.
