Evaluation of machines and equipment
The evaluation of machines and equipment encompasses the correct use of methods and techniques for evaluation required for professionally and ethically correct evaluation of machines and equipment.
The evaluation of machines and equipment is most frequently carried out in order to establish the value of property due to purchase or sale, upon the liquidation of a company and bankruptcy proceedings, of in-kind contributions in fixed assets when establishing a company, during inheritance procedures.
To pursue the activity, the conditions for a certified appraiser of machines and equipment must be met.

Applicants who wish to pursue this activity must register the business activity, and have the appropriate legal status.

On the basis of special evaluation methods, certified appraisers of machines and equipment make an evaluation through which they provide information regarding the actual value of the real estate to clients.
A certified appraiser of machines and equipment is a natural person who has acquired a licence from the Slovenian Institute of Auditors to perform the tasks of a certified appraiser of machines and equipment.
