Manufacture of prepared meals and dishes (10.850)

This SCA code includes activities and services for which entrance and/or other conditions for the commencement and pursue of an activity are established. 

 

Regulations and conditions:

 

  • Decree on the implementation of certain Regulations (EC) concerning foodstuffs, hygiene of foodstuffs and official control of foodstuffs

Before placing foodstuffs on the market, the facilities in the area of production, processing and marketing foodstuffs are required to register in the register kept by the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection
(UVHVVR).

Activities/services which are classified in this sub-class of the standard classification of activities:

 

This class includes the manufacture of ready-made (i.e. seasoned, cooked and prepared) meals and dishes, frozen, vacuum-packed or canned. To be considered a dish, these foods have to contain at least two ingredients and
must be packed and ready for re-sale.

This class includes:

  • manufacture of fresh or frozen prepared meat dishes;
  • manufacture of fish dishes;
  • manufacture of vegetable dishes;
  • manufacture of frozen baked pizzas;
  • manufacture of fresh or frozen prepared dishes based on pasta.
