Entry in the register of waste transporters
A transporter transports waste after acquiring the certificate on the entry in the register of waste transporters The register of waste transporters is managed by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy.
The application for the entry in the register is submitted in written or electronic form at the Environment Agency of Republic of Slovenia (ARSO). After ARSO establishes whether the application is appropriate from the administrative and content view, it issues a certificate on the entry in the register of waste transporters:
- name of the transporter,
- reference number of the transporter,
- date of entry of the transporter in the register and
- data whether the transporter transports non-hazardous or hazardous waste.
The transporter must notify the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning on any within 30 days from the date of the change.
The transporter is entered in the register of waste transporters if they have a licence for transporting goods in road traffic.
