Transfer of obligations to the public service provider

The producer, collector or final user without a preliminary supplier can transfer their obligations in relation to the takeover of waste equipment, its reuse, processing, recycling and notifying the public on waste equipment management only on the public service provider.
The transfer of obligations is arranged with a contract based on which the public service provider ensures to the producer, collector or final user of the state public utility services which is implemented as a concession public service.
The area of implementation of the public service is the entire area of the Republic of Slovenia.
The public service provider must prepare a waste equipment management plan, arrange collection centres and acquire the environmental permit.
